I will rebuild and change the version naming to 6.0.0-fritsch ... to not confuse people.

Uploaded another image - please if someone can test - post me a kodi log with it. It should install the same as before and do the same - but version should not tell 6.0.0 but 6.0.0-fritsch. Thanks much.

Yeah.
Seems so. I just really wish this BYT was 10% faster so it could do MAADI instead of bob on 1080i50 it skips just enough frames for sport to be jerky.
But colors are fantastic, and I think this is as good as it gets on Isengard

I did a clean installation at the weekend without lirc and pastebinit.
But it looks like it didn't install libcurl3.

I will check and report.

I had to create a symlink for libcurl.so.4 otherwise kodi was not aware of it.

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcurl-gnutls.so.4 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4

This was not necessary with ubuntu 15.04.

Mmmh: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libcurl.so.4 is provided by libcurl3

@wsnipex: anything we need to change?

Just to clarify things a little bite more i would suggest to move these build into two directories like:

isengard/OE-6.0-kodi-15.2-beta-fritsch-edition
jarvis/OE-6-dev-kodi-16.x-alpha-fritsch-edition

or similar...

libcurl3 will not install when i follow your how to.
I didn't install lirc and pastebinit but this shouldn't be a show stopper.

My suggestion: explicit installation of libcurl3

My suggestion: if kodi needs it, it should depend on it :-) but will talk to wsnipex first.

Did something like that: http://fritsch.fruehberger.net/openelec ... if someone does not get it - he is wrong in this thread :-)

With the latest OE-6.0-kodi-15.2-beta-fritsch-edition broadwell NUC (i3) does work well with 4k. No stuttering and all resolutions at hand without any hacks.

Geat work fritsch!

Yeah - this one. Let's wait for Fernet .. passthrough is always a pain. Does not look that heavy at all :-)

same error with Isengard build from today. All settings from page 1 . If passthrough is enabled i get the errors. After disable passthrough all is fine.

http://pastebin.com/UKfc7Hse

Error come every 5 Minutes from 21:20:27 to 21:57:17

Is disabling passthrough enough or do you also enable Sync Playback to Display?

Btw. do you mux that stuff yourself? Where is the audio coming from? From the log it's quite clear video and and audio do not match - when disabling passthrough and proper Video Clock sync can be done - we resample the issues away.
