Or the official Kodi repo.

For years I've really enjoyed the Spurs TV addon....but I've recently done a Fresh Start in Kodi Jarvis 16.1 and the addon no longer works.
The Spurs TV version is v2.12.1 and when I click a link I get an ERROR box asking to send an Error report or not....and sometimes I get a scrolling message saying that ''Python dependency 2.25.0 not found''.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times without any luck. I've also noticed a v2.40 but this doesn't work either.
Any help to make this work again would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Kodi 17 (Krypton) is a requirement for the latest addon versions, that's the reason for the Python dependency error.
Are you installing through the official repository? It looks like you must have installed a zip file, which is not a recommended way to install as it won't check all the dependencies or auto update.

I have now upgraded to KODI 17 (Krypton) and I'm sorry to say that the Spurs TV addon still doesn't work for me....I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling from KODI Repo and from Leopold's Repo without success. If anyone could guide me through a working fix I'd be very grateful.

What's the error? The best way to get help is to provide a debug log.

Yes I did....a dialogue ERROR box comes up within the addon when I click on any link that I want to watch.....asking if I want to send Error report or not.....except the YouTube ones, they work ok.

I have no idea why this error is happening for you. I can only think that it's caused by other addons interfering in some way.

You could try this

1. Exit Kodi
2. Copy %APPDATA%\kodi to %APPDATA%\kodi.bak to backup your profile
3. Start Kodi
4. Install Spurs TV from Kodi repository
5. Try to run it and start a video

If that works with a fresh profile then there's nothing wrong with the addon itself. After doing this test you can copy %APPDATA%\kodi.bak back to %APPDATA%\kodi.

It didn't work I'm afraid...I'm on the verge of going without, I've tried almost everything now....I've uninstalled and reinstalled repos and addons...I could not install the SpursTV addon via the KODI repository or the Leopold repository (clicking Install didn't function at all). I can only install the addon using the ADD ON INSTALLER...and then the addon opens but no videos play only popping up an Error dialogue box asking if I should send an error report or not. I've also tried going behind a VPN as I'm abroad but without joy.
The only thing I haven't done up to now is to uninstall KODI completely and start again which might take me half a day.
Thank you for all your replies, I know you've been trying to help me resolve this.

The key thing is to find out why you are unable to install from the Kodi repository, because if you are able to do that then everything should work. If you can provide a description of what happens when you try to install it and a debug log then I should be able to see what is happening.

OK, first I tried the Kodi Repo...clicked on Spurs TV addon, then clicked Install.....nothing happened...and then I did exactly the same from Leopold's Repo with the same end result.
