Would help greatly with VFR-encoded videos with large frame rates fluctuations (e.g. 4k videos shot on Note 4) by preventing unnecessary occasional freezes/flashing.
Maybe an override via advancedsettings or still better an option inside Kodi (to make the setting easier to access)? Tells Kodi to "set it & forget it" at the start of playback (for the duration of the file) instead of continuous scanning.
