WeTek Core WiFi speed is sufficient for all kind of streaming no matter if from Internet or LAN from NAS for example. You should not have any issue.

@droidelec, confirming these guys are an Authorised WeTek Reseller ?
http://www.xacttv.ca/shop/
It would be very helpful if you guys had a Worldwide Authorised distributer list.

They better not be. These guys are shady as hell, and as far as I know, there is no authorized North American seller.

At moment to North America market we are selling only by Amazon and eBay, but also we are actively looking for distributors and retailers that can add value to our brand, which means that we are very sensitive on our distribution policy.

If anyone is intrested... amvideocap problem for Wetek Core has been solved. Codesnake already updated the kernel and all new builds should have /dev/amvideocap0

Did anyone notice at http://core.wetek.com/, it says, the wait will end 17:00 GMT....
Wonder what that means

For me I think I have to wait more... now I am looking at the Wetek Play 2S
http://kodiportugal.pt/novidades-wetek-n...016-dubai/
Depending on the price of course but I like the Play 2S options over the Core
Hope that somebody can do a deep comparison, not only at specs side but also at the possibilities of booth (or the new line of products).

@Jo
what I can tell you is that on a software side we try to give the same user experience accross all the different products, so if you buy another WeTek device you are already used to it and don't need to learn everything again from scratch.
Obviously there are some things that only specific hardware can do, but the backbone, the interface, etc will always stay constant to give a smooth transition in case you wanna get another box or update to the next one.
It's not that if some feature are added to the S905 they are not added to Core just to let people buy the new model, if the hardware can support it, then why not, see HD Audio for example.
Many of the things that has been added to the Core in the last months were developed on S905 but I have backported them because there was no reason to keep them exclusive of the future line since the Core could handle them perfectly.
