I found some differences in the configuration and made changes, giving it a try.
Something Ive noticed is the slide-in box occasionally displays a warning triangle instead of the picture. What causes that?

The error image is because the add on is unable to get the image or the mjpeg stream failed or times out. These are both related to connection to the camera. You could try increasing the timeout in the add-on settings if you ba e a slow connection. Or decrease the camera settings image quality. Or try one of the other types for the preview. Snapshots should be the lowest overhead and least complex. You could start there if you are using mjpeg.

Pretty happy with my v1.2.2 release which overcame a few bugs which were hard for me to get sorted out! Added the ability to choose what to play by selecting an open preview!

Next weekend I'm back to working on Camera API stuff. Later I'll be figuring out how to expand the All Camera Player to show all 6 cameras, not just the first 4.

How's it going. First, thanks for your work and effort on this plugin. I'm having an issue with previews not showing up though alarms are detected. I'm using a FireTV with Jarvis beta. Looking at the log I'm seeing this error with regard to Surveillance Room.

Any tips on this? Sometimes the preview will show. But seems more often it doesn't. If it's simply not supported for this version of Kodi, don't worry about it. OK have a good one.

@randomuser - Two things. First, please update to version 1.2.2 I uploaded earlier today as that embarrassing coding error is fixed. However, it was only detected because the camera connection isn't healthy. Try increasing the timeout in the settings in case there is any network lag. From the blank exception message (line one) I'd assume it's not receiving a response from your camera when it checks for the status.

I have just the preview.

vbarreaux - Can you describe what happens? Also grab a screenshot of the camera settings and set the log level to debug and PM me the log lines and I'll be able to give some advice!

Hello ,
i installed 1.22 Version from Github, before i used foscam4HD without any problems on Helix 14.2.
Now the plugin starts with a script error, with debug log i can see that the connection to my Foscam EP 9853 is etablished.
Maybe someone can look at my logfile please.
The only thig i can see is the problem with the preview gui, whatever it means.

Interesting. I might have missed something in aa naming conversion. Open the default.py file of the add on and update any 'previewgui' instance with 'camerapreview' and it should be fine. I'll get an actual fix out later tonight. Sorry about that!

Actually, misread that. Delete previewgui from that import line. It doesn't exist anymore due to the naming conversion.
