Yes, both enabled is fine. It will use omxplayer whenever possible and fallback to mmal when not supported by omxplayer (e.g. DVD menus, alsa audio, AC3 transcoding).

OK. But why are both not enabled per default then? (or are they? I dont think i changed this). Would probably save a lot of confusion and false bug hunting? and why does it work fine with MMAL and tvheadend and not mediaportal?

Because MMAL/videoplayer is recommended in most cases. However you are hitting a videoplayer bug which omxplayer doesn't suffer from.
Hopefully that will be resolved soon and you can use either method.

Build #0106 is fine. Not immediately obvious which commit might be causing this.

Edit: Ah, the error is that it can't load the skin file, so file/dir/io related... and indeed that file is missing from the build... WTF...
Edit2: There is no "mainWindow.xml" in the Confluence skin, nor was there yesterday so this seems to be some sort of screw up in terms of asset loading? The addon is using a file called "service.openelec.settings/resources/skins/Default/720p/mainWindow.xml" but Kodi in build #0107 is trying to load the xml from the Confluence directory not the addon directory.

Same window load process in build #0106:

OpenELEC Config working fine again in #0108

Hopefully herrmeier01's audio issue is still fixed in this build.
If you had live TV buffering issues can you confirm issue is still present and if so provide as much detail as possible.
Does it occur with omxplayer and/or MMAL.
Do any settings make it better or worse?
When (which build) did the problem start?
How frequently does it buffer?
If you are using "pll adjust" as sync method set it to resample.
Include a debug log (wiki). If you have posted one before and the symptoms are the same then link to old log.

I know you may answered some of these before, but I'd like to get the info in one place so FernetMenta can try to understand what is going wrong.

I just saw that the new build is avaiable. Yes, new patch is working, audio is fine again. Thanks you very much popcornmix and FernetMenta for your effort
Probable my problem with video buffering in Live-TV ist still alive. A debug is attached in my post above.

Did you see my post about MMAL OMX hardware acceleration?
(2016-01-09, 01:13)mylle Wrote: Did you see my post about MMAL OMX hardware acceleration?

Yes, I did. I generally understand the differences between MMAL and OMXPlayer. It seams that the buffering issues only occurs with MMAL player.
I report this also in an earlier post.
With latest build #0108 I have a new issue with Yatse remote tool on my Android phone. The arrow navigation keys don't work anymore. Can someone verify this. I made a downgrade back to #0107 and it's working again. After that I upgrade to #0108 and the issue occurs again.
Arrow keys don't work but other function in Yatse are working, strange. Did any API change?

Can you post a full debug log from #0108 and also #0107 (for comparison purposes) when you are using the Yatse remote? I'm not sure what method Yatse is using for navigation but the JSON Input.Left/Input.Right/Input.Up/Input.Down methods are working for me in #0108, assuming that's the method Yatse is using.

Also you didn't post a debug log in your post above regarding Live TV - can you post a log from #0108?

The easiest way to post debug logs is using ssh: "cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | paste".

I will create debug logs of Yatse remote tomorow. Now my TV is in use and not avaiable for test :-)
Hm, in my post there is a Dropbox link of a huge debug file. Is this not visible at your side?
I collegt the file with scp...
Here is the link again https://www.dropbox.com/s/7vycj609kn6ch4...g.zip?dl=0

If you want I try to create also a new debug of the video stuttering problem with #0108 build
A new log would be advisable if the patches have been changed since your last log.

Ok, I will create a new one with #0108. Do you recommend any additional component logging or is a simply debug log enough?
