OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)
known issue

EDIT: this should fix passthrough for paplayer: https://github.com/FernetMenta/xbmc/comm...11bad6b8fa
Thank You FernetMenta,
i'm here switching between build to build, Settings mm/omx/pt on-off ect. lol

I think as a layman, it is a general problem with videoplayer and the very old DVD-strukture.
Hard work.
Here is a new mini DVD - works fine in #1001 but makes problems after #0115 to #0124 (don't play in DTS)

(but you have over 800Mb to download)

So we have now 3 Testfiles, who makes problems in the past Big Grin ....(if you don't deleted them, lol)
(2016-01-25, 17:11)rewsteruk Wrote: Here is the debug log for #0123, when I clicked the file the on screen CPU info froze for about 30 seconds.
http://sprunge.us/JIEE

After uploading I switched the skin to confluence just in case, didn't make a difference, but I could not change it back to mimic in #0123, had to go back to #0110b to do it.

Thanks for the log. Could you do me one last favour, test WOL while using Confluence and upload another #0123 debug log?

The Mimic skin you are using has all sorts of problems that may be affecting WOL behaviour (contact the skin author for support):
Code:
14:55:51  21.960346 T:1964675072   ERROR: unable to load:/storage/.kodi/addons/skin.mimic/1080i/DialogNotification.xml, Line 0
                                            Failed to open file
...
14:56:21  51.847599 T:1964675072   ERROR: unable to load:/storage/.kodi/addons/skin.mimic/1080i/DialogConfirm.xml, Line 0
                                            Failed to open file

Perhaps Mimic is not compatible with Jarvis, but it would be good to see a debug log of the WOL behaviour while using a compatible skin with working dialogs.

Thanks - should be a fix for that in tonight's build.

Thanks for the quick fix! Tested build #0124 and can't reproduce the crashes any longer Smile

I've also tried what happens when I disable MVC support: after disabling MVC the 3D bluray iso file is played successfully in 2D without any problems.

Thanks for sample. I get the same behaviour as you. I've done a little digging and it seems libaacs is only used when reading files through libbluray.
We don't currently use libbluray for 3D ISOs which is why it doesn't work.
There's no quick fix for this, but this provides another argument for integrating the ssif parsing inside libbluray.

Here is the log with confluence http://sprunge.us/HHff
This did not wake the server, on first episode selected, wol then gave remove from server prompt. second episode froze the debug info on screen no wol prompt then pop up with remove from server prompt

Mimic seemed to be working fine in #0110b, but I noticed that when I went from #0123 then back to #0110b after the last debug request my mimic settings were corrupted, I restored from backup.

3D MVC mkv still perfect.

I have tested with build #0122, and it's OK.
This wrong behavior starts from build #0123

Milhouse,

those are Kyrpton only skin files, it's Confluence only from this point until the various skin writers are ready to take a trip on the wild side. Me personaly, that won't happen until Beta 1 when the changes settle down.

Wyrm (AppTV)
If required a FULL debug log can now be submitted from the skin in settings->skin settings->support. Or follow instructions here if you can't access skin settings.

FAQ's located at :- http://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:AppTV
Apologies, of course I meant Krypton not Jarvis. Smile

Yes, third-party skins will probably take a while to get up to speed with Krypton. I do recommend people only report issues while testing with Confluence.

Thanks, hopefully @mk01 can see something useful in there.

Yes, Mimic (and probably most third-party skins) won't work with build #0123 and later - the following changes in build #0123 will render most third-party skins incompatible:

(2016-01-24, 01:53)Milhouse Wrote:
  • XBMC:
    • rename kaitoast xml to DialogNotification.xml (PR:8943, 2 commits, 4 files changed)
    • merge albuminfo & songinfo xml files (PR:8892, 2 commits, 6 files changed)
    • bump skin ABI (backwards compatibility) version (PR:8948, 1 commit, 1 file changed)
    • merge 'ok', 'yesno' & 'progress' dialogs xml files (PR:8865, 2 commits, 13 files changed)

Stick with Confluence until third party skins have been updated for Krypton (which might not be for some time - the release window for Krypton is still 5-6 months away).

Question
Hello,is it possible to implement 3d depth settings for movie playback , not for user interface only , very useful feature , many players offer such function in menu Huh

I think that is better posted in the "feature request" forum as it's not something Pi (or Milhouse build) specific.
