OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 17.0)
Great work Milhouse, that's fixed it! I hadn't realised sdhost had been replaced with sdtweak. Nice one!

Still? Bummer.

Can you run the following command in ssh while it's in the infinite loop:
Code:
kill -SIGSEGV $(pidof kodi.bin)
then upload the crashlog file once Kodi has restarted - it may provide something useful.

Will do. Although it seems to be working now. Not sure the circumstances as to how the grid entered this loop, but I'll keep and eye out and if it happens again I'll post back.

I could be out of place here but maybe this would be the time to switch to TVHeadend?

Good luck getting any vendor to support Kodi, not going to happen in 9 out of 10 cases imho. Just like Hifiberry, they all don't have a budget for it.

As for your problem, TVheadend will take a bit to learn, because it is a little over-engineered with regard to the channel lists. If you can spare
a few evenings of tinkering, it is very very powerful and flexible. Depending on the jurisdiction you are in, using it with oscam and e.g. a USB
smartcard reader might work and might even be legal. Don't discuss here though, use a search engine and a more appropriate site for CA.

Another option might be abandoning linear TV altogether and subscribe to a service like Netflix. There were times in my life when I watched
500 channels and after a couple of months it dawned on me that I wasn't really missing anything by not watching any of them.

Thanks for your comment. Just want to use the PVR for my default subscribed channels since it works and looks way better than on my 2015 Sony TV,
TVHeadend should support my USB Tuner's so I will give it a try then on the Pi3.

Shouldn't TVHeadend come with the OpenElec builds? Can't find the TVHeadend Backend in "Settings -> Add-ons -> Services -> tvheadend" as stated per Wiki ?

TVHeadend is not included in the Milhouse builds, but they are available as addon:

im an running TVHeadend with two sundtek usb tuners on a rpi_2

Is that 'sdtweak vs sdhost" RP3 specific, or should I make that change for my RP2s?

Should work on RPi0/RPi1/RPi2 as well.

Hi to everybody and thanks tor your great job!

just figured out my first problem with latest release. In some video´s the Codec information (button "o") appears automatically. Only a reboot helps. This issue hasn´t occurred with any releases before. Unfortunately my cec remote has no button to remove this window and for me the keymap editor addon does not work with the latest releases.
@ThonaV: Will be fixed in the next build.

Thanks. Seems straight forward and the Anysee E30 is recognized fine, added Ziggo ID:5555, MUX: 474MHz, Symbol Rate: 6875.
Unfortunately I am getting "DVB-C #0 - failed to tune [e=Invalid argument]".

Don't want to pollute this tread but if anyone can get me on track pls. PM me.

If I use dtovetlay=mmc I can grep Overclock with sdtweak I get nothing by grepping overclock
Hi,

* unscrambled channels are working
* some scrambled channels work ok (ORF for example).
