So enable debugging in Retrospect. Let the crash happen. Then from the Retrospect add-on settings (don't ru the add-on only open the settings) upload the log.
I think a got it right, I hope so ;-)
Its on https://pastebin.com/JJG7ruhb
Bud when the crash happens I don't know if its shows in de log. Because the Apple TV freezes and had to restart it.
It only happens when I put in the passwords
Ok, so I also need the retrospect.old.log and a kodi.old.log. Those you will need to get manually.
I found a solution. Copied the files net.rieter from the Mac to the Apple TV and now it works.
Thanks for the time

It's odd, but good to hear it is working now.

I have a NPO Start account and an app on my phone where I can see Premium/Paid Episodes when logged in.
I  installed latest version of Retrospect and I saved my credentials for NPO Start in the config of Retospect.
When I want to view Premium/Paid content (marked with little superscript a) it just shows me some warning that this is DRM (a few times) and then I'm back at the list.
I don't quite understand the log, but I think it never logs in somehow (what is the use of the credentials?).
Maybe I'm doing something wrong - do I have to do something special to use these credentials for NPO start?
None paid content is playing fine (as long as Widevine is installed).

Kodi 18.0 Git:20190128-d81c34c (Leia)
Retrospect 4.1.7.47
Ubuntu 18.10 (fully updated)

You are not doing anything wrong. I had to remove this feature for the moment, but kept the settings. It might come back at some time. See also https://bitbucket.org/basrieter/xbmc-onl...ronization

Can you add the Retrospect channel favorites to the Retrospect start screen? I want to have all my Retrospect favorites easy accessible from the start screen.

Why post this question again here? You already posted that exact same one here: https://bitbucket.org/basrieter/xbmc-onl...es-section

It is accessible via the contextenu of the Retrospect channel overview (start list).

Let's continue the discussion in the Bitbucket issue and stop cross posting.

Yes well, but you resolved that issue so I wasnt sure if you get notified if I posted there.
Let's continue over there.

Would it not be cool if somehow we could integrate Retrospect into the Kodi TV guide. So if a user browses back in time through the TV guide it will see when there's a "uitzending gemist"-stream available. It's just like in the Telfort or KPN TV guide where they use a green arrow icon to visualize you can watch it back.

It certainly would. However, the TV Guide functionality is written not written in Python, but in C++. So I can't do this.

I am a relative newbie to Kodi, but I was wondering if it is in any way possible to use the retrospect plugin as a PVR backend system that simply retransmits the NPO streams as a local http stream like tvheadend does?

PVR requires C++ coding. So no, that is not really an option.

Anyone interested in a repo that auto updates retrospect? I have created one.
