WIP Ember Media Manager 1.4.8.0 ALPHA - Discussion Thread
(2019-12-21, 22:56)oggie62 Wrote: Hi all......I have been using EMM for many years and apart from an issue with regex, I never had problems. Recently I added a TV Show and when I tried scraping it, EMM didn't find it. I assumed it was corrupted so I tried adding another.....with same result. Next I left-clicked it to select TVDB from the list....and it was greyed out. Any idea what's going on ? Many thanks in advance.

I'll probably be corrected but from what I know TVDB is not working right now with Ember. (TVDB people changed things at their end).  Try disabling TVDB and use the other providers instead.
Confusion is just a state of mind.
I was looking to change all my poster images from <filename>.ext to poster.ext. Is their a way EMM can handle this, I have about 4000 movies in their own folders so manually will suck haha.

Hi....thanks for reply which I tried but made no difference. I thought of re-installing Ember but I am afraid it wouldn't scrape anything....at least now the older stuff has already been scraped.
Any date to release?

Search the thread for TVDB and download the updated dll and put on the modules folder from install directory.

Hi
Using v1.4.90 x64 and noticed an issue that's not shown up before.

As I watch movies, I update the watched status.  This is now not showing up consistantly.

The watched status is still in the nfo file under '<playcount>1</playcount>'.  It's also showing up in the 'Edit Movie' dialogue.  However, it's not showing up on the main screen.

P.S. Thanks for all your work over the years - great software.

That's the source code and i don't think that's what you want. Grab the latest build (1 year old, sort by date) from komplex' Goggle drive: Link

Thanks for the reply, but it didn't work. If I left-click on a TV show, IMDB, TMDB and TVDB are all greyed out - see image : https://ibb.co/3S3rm4N

This tv show isn't scraped, so there is no TVDb ID and Ember can't create a Link to open the webpage. But this has nothing to do with the bug's on the TVDb API...

Why isn't it scraped ? Anyhow, it's on IMDB....but that's not the point. It happens to any tv show. While with movies everything seems fine
Hello,

scrapping TV Show data is also not working for me. I tested these scenario.
Notes:
1. when I enabled a scrapper all other are disabled
2. I only scrapped the nfo using the "Forced Best Match" command.

Results:
IMDB         : no nfo data saved, no error message
TMDB        : no nfo data saved, no error message
Tracktv     : didn't test as they require to create an account.
TVDB        : no nfo data saved, EMM crashes with cryptic instance object error message

then I installed the tvdb.dll (20191129)
TVDB        : no nfo data saved, no error message

then I installed the tvdb.dll (20191125)
TVDB        : no nfo data saved, no error message

Is there a fix coming in the short time?
is Tracktv a worthy scrapper?
