Why is Ned Scott Banned? I come back to my thread because I just noticed that this bug is still not looked at and I see poor Ned banned? He was one of the few moderators of this place who had the common sense to not take things personally, he was a good guy.
Can someone please tell me why this hasn't been picked up in a year?

@AbRASiON
While I understand your frustration, there is no interest in this issue from the developers. It is not on any to do list. Personally, there are much more important issues that I would prefer the developers deal with, rather than a niggly little annoyance like this one. Statement like "cmon y'all" can be seen as disrespectful and demanding. Let's not head down that track.
Sure, I have some little irks as well, but so far I have been able to either make some minor edits to the skin or just accept them and move on.
As far as I am aware, Filters are never meant to be persistent.
I suppose a better question to ask is why you are running Update Library so often and during peak times? Maybe make these local fixes instead.

Karellen:
You must be missing some elements of the fault.
The custom filter that the user sets is reset very easily, you don't have to update the library to do so, almost anything resets the filter.

EDIT: BTW obviously filter not intended to be perm, but it's a little too lite right now. Be nice if a little light was in the corner which said "Filter" and you just hit it to turn it off but it otherwise *stays on!*
