I'm not using LibreELEC,but I follow it's development closely.
My setup won't work here, sorry.
Thanks anyway, I was wondering since brctrl isn't included. It really should be since the Pi 3 has onboard WiFi now.
Hi..

#0614, 14-Jun-2016: RPi / RPi2

MCE Remote not work... Problem with new lirc?

This is where LibreELEC (a media center focused client) diverges from the more mainstream/general purpose distributions. If you want your RPi3 to be an access point as well as a media center client then LibreELEC is not your best option.

I like LibreELEC for the ro system data integrity, I just want to be able to connect the eth to the wifi.

*edit*
I can connect using just iptables.
Thanks for the direction. It didnt crash but instead just froze

Nothing obvious from log except you have some network issues. e.g.:
Code:
12:14:36  17.430374 T:1753215904   ERROR: ## LibreELEC Addon ## oe::load_url(http://releases.libreelec.tv/releases.json) ## ERROR: (URLError(gaierror(-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution'),))

Do you still get the hang if omxplayer is enabled? Does it affect all video files or just that one?
Can you try copying the video to pi (e.g. to sdcard or usb stick) and play from there?
If you ssh in before the hang is the ssh connection still active? What does "vcgencmd get_throttled" return at this point?
Hello,

Like mentioned in post #888 I also don't get any options in LibreELEC -> System. Only Network, Connections etc. shows options. The same seems to be the case with LibreELEC (Krypton) v7.90.002 ALPHA.

I don't have this issue in LibreELEC (Jarvis 16.1) v7.0.1 and all builds up to LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-8.0-Milhouse #0609. Later builds all have this issue.

Anyone have any clue? I have a RPi 3.
When does it auto updates?
i have 614 on it.
i have it set to auto update.
When does it check for updates? on shutdown/restart/bootup?

Strange thing is i had it on 613 also but when i did a restart it worked again.

in a glimps i saw it showed something like failed to load .... something and when i check the system its blank but after a reboot it works again 614 also just works here.
I have restarted many times and installed different images to check which worked an which not. As mentioned all builds work up to #609. So I guess something has changed since then ...

This is problem:
Code:
14:01:54  71.623474 T:1572184992    INFO: RTMPSockBuf_Fill, recv returned -1. GetSockError(): 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable)
14:01:54  71.623566 T:1572184992   ERROR: RTMP_ReadPacket, failed to read RTMP packet header

We are getting an error from network stack. Are you sure LE Jarvis is working on this stream currently?
There is always a chance that something is changed at the server end, so it's worth double checking the stream is still good.

If it does work in LE Jarvis, then it probably was working in an earlier Milhouse nightly build.
Worth testing a build from a couple of months back just to see.

Possibly LE has bumped a library which the new version is no longer supporting this stream. Narrowing down when this occurred would be helpful.

Just to report that recent builds have sorted the rtmp issue - now streaming fine. Great stuff!

Edit:
in a glimps i saw it showed something like addon isnt ready yet. And now i have the same problem again reset a few times etc but seeing a blank system page.

No idea really how to reproduced it. earlier today when i just updated to 614 it worked but then i did a restart and it stopped working.

Might have found the "problem" when the PI3 in my case is powered down totally and then i start it up i see the system settings. but if i do a reboot and then check its gone.

I had thought the Settings add-on would auto-update custom builds but it turns out this isn't implemented yet so for now either update manually (select a build from Available Versions) or continue using Leopolds add-on until we can flesh out the Settings add-on.
