i hope this is the correct command needed.

Thanks Little_Kitty but when the "debug log" is requested, this means kodi.log (with debug enabled), ie.:
Code:
cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit

hello

just wanted to ask if there is an update on this lirc/gpio issue?

using build 630 im still not able to control kodi using my ir diode connected to the gpio's.

if i press "up" its like i have pressed "up" 6 times.
"ok" is not working at all.

such strange behavior is on all remotes (not just ir) if the ir diode is connected to the gpio's.

if i remove the ir diode and restart the pi all none ir remotes are working flawless.

rollback to an older build resolves this issue.

regards
tristan
Any 1080i (both 50Hz and 60Hz) videos don't play at all in build #0630.

No updates yet, although it continues to be investigated.

The sample plays okay for me. Did it play for you with #0629?
Does adjusting any settings make it work?
e.g. deinterlace, omxplayer, mmal, "sync playback to display", "adjust display refresh rate to match video"?

Plays fine here to on a PI3. That's a whole lotta resolution!

I rebooted the RPi3 and now it plays fine. My bad I guess. Tongue It didn't work after the 1-st boot when I upgraded from 0625 to 0630.

Ok, I did more testing and there is definitely a bug in #0630. After you play a HEVC video - all 1080i videos will become unplayable (regardless of codec used) until you reboot the RPi. This would only happen with some HEVC videos.

I'm still not seeing this. Is it enough to (from a reboot) play the HEVC sample for a few seconds, press stop and then play the 1080i sample?
Can you post a debug log (wiki)?
Try to play it a few times, I can easily reproduce it:
1. Play the HEVC sample for a few seconds, press STOP.
2. Try to play an 1080i AVC sample.

I will post a debug log a bit later.

I have no problem with playing the sample on RPi3, but that is not running so smoothly as other videos.

Noticing a good improvement with iplayerwww and the higher quality Wimbledon Limelight live streams in latest 0630 build?
Well first time had higher quality stream running for long periods without starting to video/audio stutter after a while...Cool hoping it's not a placebo effect Wink

Thanks for all the hard work with the nightly builds Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

----Edit----- Just watched full match, Wales 3:1 Belgium, what a great game of football and not a single drop/pause in 3.1Mpbs Limelight stream for whole match -----

I ran a script that plays 2 seconds of each clip in a loop. It ran for hundreds of iterations.
Now, I have been tweaking the patches today, so to be sure I reverted back to the commit from last night's build,
and sure enough it failed quickly with this test.

So, not completely sure what fixed it, but hopefully it will be good again tonight.
