v17 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0)
(2016-05-06, 13:22)schumi2004 Wrote: @Milhouse

I run your builds with great pleasure on both x86 and RPi2 but was wondering why DVD playback is disabled?
I couldn't find a answer on why this is disabled for Krypton builds?

Thanks for bringing this up again, as it really limits my use of KODI. I have a couple of ripped DVDs and would very much like to give my kids the opportunity to see them.
KODI 20 - LibreELEC 11

Intel NUC 4250U (Haswell) in Abel H2 chassis, Philips 55OLED804
They are probably doing alot of changes to the code. Krypton is still in Alpha so things will be buggy, temporary disabled, changed or added/removed...
AppleTV 4K, LG 65E6 OLED TV, Marantz NR1606, Harmony Elite

Why don't you convert in avi ?

Let me know what effect this has on Braswell stability, and/or remote auto-repeat. Thanks.
Thx a lot... Everything is running fine again Smile

Yes all works! Thank you Milhouse
Having probs with Quasar 0.9.33/0.9.34 daemon while running build #0505x on my Braswell NUC.

Other than that running very smoothly.

Installed this 1 hour ago without issues so far.
Maybe i'm not a high end user but this baby runs perfect on my Zotac AD02 (AMD) (and RPi2)

Are there specific things we need to test?

Not at the moment, just use it normally and report any new problems. Don't report problems that can't be reproduced while using the stock Estuary skin - if you're using a third-party skin and can't reproduce the problem in Estuary then it's a problem with your third-party skin (contact your skin maintainer). Always upload a debug log when reporting problems.

#0506 totally froze on my Braswell NUC after just one Youtube video, had to power it off by pressing the power for a few secs.

use build 505x
0505x fixed scroll / auto-repeat for me (ASUS Chromebox), going to try 0506 later today.
0506 use the RC6 Kernel. I don't think you will get lucky with that build.

Using other visualizations are fine. Tried this 2~3 times. First crash was after initially installing the plugin. Debug was prior to crash 3.

Debug: http://xbmclogs.com/pzmhmwmaf
Crash 1: http://xbmclogs.com/pugcjjmrl
Crash 2: http://xbmclogs.com/pg1f3vm69
Crash 3: http://xbmclogs.com/pyl4ajjqj

Thanks for the logs. The addon from the LibreELEC 8.0 repository should be up to date, it might be worth giving that a try instead.

Is it only with MP3, what about other music file formats? I've tested the shadertoy visualisation on my Revo3700/ION2 and it's not crashing with MP3 or other formats, but it could be be driver or hardware specific, or some other setting triggers it. Do you know which visualisation preset (ie. which shadertoy) you are using - I tried the first two, 2D LED Spectrum and Audio Reaktive without any issue.

Sorry for the late reply - I was using visualization.shadertoy-1.0.6-%230401-milhouse.zip

I didn't know they where also in the 8.0 repository. I assume that's pre-loaded in this build? I'll check it out and report back. I only tried that visualer with one mp3 file and it was large (12 minute song) so that could have been part of it.

Yes, your "LibreELEC Add-ons" repository should be populated now. I would delete/uninstall the addon from visualization.shadertoy-1.0.6-%230401-milhouse.zip, and then try installing the Visualization Shadertoy add-on from the LE repo (this should be version 1.0.8).
