v17 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0)
Another crash this morning with build #613
I'm going to do a clean install like suggested before by Milhouse but maybe the log is still useful ? I couldn't find anything specific for this crash.

This is the kodi.old.log https://paste.ee/p/GkJMo
This is the kodi.log https://paste.ee/p/jNDzw
Dmesg output https://paste.ee/p/XfFzd

Both Debug enabled.
Reproduce while playing local files in a row as always when tvheadend is involved.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
Are the remote/IR/lirc issues back to normal in #0615 now that the lirc bump has been dropped?
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

Do you say it's a tvheadend issue?
I can't recall any crash when playing local files tbh, i can try to let it play for hours using local files but then i need to set a few things up.
Problem is that it takes hours if not days before it crashes. Sometimes twice a day but sometimes it takes 2 days before it crashes.
We also mainly watch LiveTV on this box, RPi2 doesn't seem to have such issues.

Now it's running with a clean install without addons, see what happens and then i'll try a local files session.

I'll upgrade now and report back.

/edit:
Remote works perfect again with build #615
For me no more ir problem
Another crash with clean install with only a few addons installed (needed by Eastuary skin mod ) and a lot of repo's.
Running memtest86 now, 70% and no errors found yet.

Could it have something todo with VDPAU?
In every log i check that is the last thing before it is killed.

/edit:
Not sure if it is useful, but this happens when LiveTV (tvheadend) is running for minimal 3~4 hours.
It's a memleak, yes. Check with top and press H for threads and see which thread eats that much memory. So for now you can only reproduce this when running with tvheadend, right? Can't you setup a vdr or something and see if that persists? I fear (yet again) it sends shit, which is not decoded properly and somewhere fills up :-(
