Saw #617 being uploaded going to give that a try. not sure what has changed but who knows.

/edit:
#617 IR works again

LibreELEC (community) Version: devel-20160617210505-#0617-g2707304

libreelec:~ # irw
6c 0 KEY_DOWN devinput
6c 0 KEY_DOWN_UP devinput
6c 0 KEY_DOWN devinput
6c 0 KEY_DOWN_UP devinput

can you get me
Code:
systemctl status | pastebinit
and
Code:
dmesg | pastebinit
for the build that works?
I thought about it but forgot to add it

systemctl status | pastebinit
http://sprunge.us/geaV
dmesg | pastebinit
http://sprunge.us/IKeA

Not sure what is happening, because for the build you say is working doesn't even show that lircd is running. Do you know if you need lirc or not?
There shouldn't be any reason why it is running on one but not the other.

edit: oh snap, I think I see the mess up

Are you sure it isn't running, what am i looking for?
I mean what should be the expected output.

[ 5.558161] lirc_dev: IR Remote Control driver registered, major 246
[ 5.575401] rc rc0: lirc_dev: driver ir-lirc-codec (mceusb) registered at minor = 0

└─256 /usr/sbin/eventlircd -f --evmap=/etc/eventlircd.d --socket=/run/lirc/lircd --release=_UP

I did see a mismatch in previous outputs.

Yes thanks, it seems I'm shipping a default lircd.conf when it isn't needed. This makes lircd run and is probbably screwing up your input.

you can probably test by stoping lircd and lircd-uinput on the build that isn't working to confirm
Code:
systemctl stop [email protected]:default:lircd.conf.service
systemctl stop [email protected]
"PPC is too slow, your CPU has no balls to handle HD content." ~ Davilla
"Maybe it's a toaster. Who knows, but it has nothing to do with us." ~ Ned Scott
Then i should downgrade, hold on.

It looks like you rebooted after running the commands?

anyways, I'll get milhouse to cook up another test build

I have enable 'Show Custom Channels' and I have enter 'http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/master/Generic/' for 'Custom Channel 1'.

I have set 'Update Channel' with 'Milhouse-8.0'. On available versions I see all updates, when I select an update, it tell me if I want update to newer version but when I select any version dialog close and nothing happens. No download progress.

Same problem here

Seems you are using the RPi2 url
Code:
http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/master/RPi2/LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.0-Milhouse-20160617210505-#0617-g2707304.tar
make sure to use the correct url, Unless @Milhouse has built this into his builds...

I just checked and I have http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/master/Generic/ on Channel 1 and Update Channel Milhouse-8.0

I think RPi2 is harcoded, just tested it myself.

Or should url be different?
When I click on available versions it clearly says x86_64. I have no idea why it's trying to then grab a RPi2

I noticed this also but then I was playing dumb and change url to RPi2 and it gave me no results, i'm lost Huh

It's not trying to grap a RPi2 build, it's just trying to grab the generic build from the wrong url. If you look in the rpi2 folder the images does not say generic in then, since they are for rpi2.

http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/mast...707304.tar

should be

http://milhouse.libreelec.tv/builds/mast...707304.tar

So seems something is wrong with the plugin if using the generic url points it to the rpi2 url
AppleTV 4K, LG 65E6 OLED TV, Marantz NR1606, Harmony Elite

Can you execute:
Code:
cat /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.libreelec.settings/oe_settings.xml | paste

and paste the url, thanks.

There are no embedded custom urls in this build.

The only obvious difference is that you have a forward-slash (/) on the end of your custom url. Can't test this myself until tomorrow evening.
