You've just sent me 11 random logs which I'm not going to bother looking at. Why do people do this (I ask, because I really want them to stop!)

Send ONE log. The best way:
Code:
1. Enable debug logging
2. Reboot
3. Reproduce the problem
4. Using ssh connect to LibreELEC, execute "cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit"
and paste the resulting url.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

Kodi is crashing for me, whenever I press the the Record button to start an instant recording in Live TV.

Sorry, I have no idea, when that started to happen... use that feature only occasionally.

Thanks for all your work!

@Milhouse

While using #0823, selection of deinterlacing-method in VideoOSD video settings is suddenly gone. Using common Intel Haswell NUC with VAAPI HW acceleration enabled. Until now i had the optional "VAAPI - Motion compensated" selected for use with a very small amount of interlacted content i use (Some LiveTV channels + DVD).

Should be related to:
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/10323
and
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/10316

I'd file a more extensive bug report, but can't because of this weeks work.

If you have the time and can confirm yourself, maybe you can pass on the info.

If not, i'll check back at the issue as soon as i have the time again.

Whatever it is, thanks!

Do i still need to add the xrandr comand in autostart.sh for the Intel passthrough 16-235 broadcast?

If so can someone point me to the code, can't find it anymore
@meowmoo afaik - no!

Check that the client has a working network when Kodi is started. If the network is not available then try enabling "Wait for network before starting Kodi" in the LibreELEC Settings add-on.

Check that your backend is working as expected, and is running (ie. check whatever should be listening on http://192.168.8.101:8089).

Other than that, it looks like an add-on or backend issue which you should probably report to the add-on maintainer.

since i moved to LE7 and later from the EGL build of kodi 15.2 i can't output more than 2 channels, although in the debug log i don't see any clear reason

http://sprunge.us/LhjZ

anyone familiar with that?

the hardware is celeron 2955 asus cbox

All fine in the Debug Log. It opens the correct number of channels and so on. From the handshake it seems that you use ARC functionality. Basically if you downgrade to 15.2 it should also not work :-)

feeling a bit stupid... i found that the sound field on the sony avr was set to 2ch on that hdmi input, discovered it when i moved the cbox to other hdmi input and everything was ok

Is there any way to force HW decoding?
I get high CPU usage when watching 1080p and discovered that system is using SW decoding no matter what setting are in player.
Same settings always used in previous versions(Helix, Jarvis), on same system, and it showed same CPU usage whether 1080 or not.

THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!
Post your Debug Log ... We have no crystal ball
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
The boot sequence is not completing when I try the testbuilds on my AspireRevo 1600 hardware. Is the Nvidia ION platform no longer supported?

I found and solved the problem.

I had LibreELEC 7 installed on the hard disk on this system. Even though I was booting from the SD card, the bootloader was recognizing a LibreELEC partition on the hard disk, and trying to use it.

I disabled the SATA controller in the system BIOS, and now it boots LibreELEC 8,0 with no errors.
