v17 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 17.0)
Audio sync issues with Video set to change refresh rate on start/stop and passthrough audio enabled.
This is on 2 different HTPCs, one AMD APU and one NVIDIA GTX + AMD, one Asrock one MSI board.
I can set audio ahead/behind but it doesn't stay the same for different container types, ie. mkv/mp4/avi etc, or different qualities.

I can set to sync with display for video and ofc passthrough disabled and all is ok.

This is 2 different TVs, on 4k LG on Sharp Aquos.

Thanks for builds, very much appreciated! 8)
@badaas is this a recent problem, which build did this start with?

Sorry, latest build.
The previous build I could set on 4k tv to ahead by 200ms and it seemed to work across all formats [passthrough to tv to optical soundbar - this works fine for all other devices/tv/apps].
I noticed it worse last night on Aquos [AMD APU 5350 + MSI], I couldnt set sync across formats on passthrough + set tv to refresh rate.

I can't see if it is in previous builds past the last 2 as only just started using this libreelec OS.
I know on windows kodi 17 latest beta's all has been ok on both HTPCs.

Media is stored on a hardwired NAS and database is SQL on the same NAS, never had issues [not sure that relevant but just in case!] Smile

Are you saying there's a problem with longpress? Please describe in more detail...

I am using a fire tv bluetooth remote with a nuc5c, when I press the "enter" button I start to play a movie. It used to be so that when I long-pressed the "enter" button the context menu would come up, but when I try to hold the "enter" button it is doing repeat presses of play instead of a long press.

Identify the build that introduced the change of behaviour. Assuming this is intentional then you'll need to create a custom remote.xml that includes your longpress.

Hello. So I made it but it still does not solve the problem with some adoons like More Power or from czech republic SosačTV. Installation not work.Sad((
Can't help without a debug log, but unless those add-ons claim to be Krypton compatible there's no point trying to install them with these builds.

@don007 MorePower looks to be far from legit so please don't ask about that add-on in future, there's no support on these forums for add-ons that facilitate piracy.

Excuse me. It will not happen
@Milhouse changing to 4.8.1 in next build?

Which of the changes do you find relevant: https://cdn.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/...eLog-4.8.1 ? Or just "later / greater" thinking?
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
The builds will use 4.8.1 tonight, but I don't expect there to be any difference as far as LE and Kodi are concerned.

I just think that latest is always greatest Tongue And I am curious. No other reason.
