Newbie question LibreElec and TVHeadEnd no tuners showing
#1
Hi,

I've got round to installing TVHeadEnd 4.2 on LibreELEC, and everything works fine up to a point. This is on a generic X64 PC based on a mini ITX motherboard.

I have a TBS 6280 PCI-e dual DVB-T2 tuner, and a Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD USB tuner.

The TBS should be supported. I wasn't sure about the Hauppauge yet.

When I have Windows 10 installed, and MediaPortal as my TV server, everything works, so the hardware is fine.

TvHeadEnd does suggest that it should include the drivers. Is this correct, or do I need to manually install them? I'm afraid I have no idea how to do this on Linux.

Can anyone help me get things moving along?

Best wishes,

Mark

LibreELEC should have the drivers already on it but it all depends on your card. Mine works out of the box.

There is some more info on the setup process for LibreELEC in this guide

Thanks. That's what I used to get as far as I have. Is there any way to tell what devices LibreELEC has detected at startup, and whether the drivers are installed? I'm totally out of my depth troubleshooting this.

Yes there is a way, but its best asking on the LibreELEC forums I think.
