Forgive me but back in the day I had to play with extracting the EDID information and testing different EDID configurations using nVidia ION hardware.

As I have a working Shuttle XH61V with Intel i7 3770s connected to the same amp as the NUC7i5BNK that bitstreams all of HBR formats at the moment I was thinking I could maybe extract the EDID using the XH61V and then use it as a custom EDID on the NUC.

Thing is, does anyone know if this is even possible with Intel hardware and if so could point in the right direction for instructions?

With LibreELEC see: https://wiki.libreelec.tv/custom_edid

You can use the getedid script to save/restore a custom edid.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

Thanks Milhouse.

I tried one of your latest releases and copied over the EDID from my working setup but unfortunately only had the same result. Everything works apart from Atmos only bitstreaming the TrueHD part of the audio track.

I don't think EDID really matters for this issue. It is a function of the AVR processor.

When can HDR service be expected in LibreElec?

Just as soon as you provide the fixes to make it work - looking forward to your kernel, video driver and kodi patches (maybe even ffmpeg too). Get cracking, what is taking you so long?

For sure but I thought I would try just to rule anything out. Considering it works perfect with an older Intel I'm willing to rule out the AVR being the problem though.

Start with the Linux Kernel. Thx very much kowalwhatever for standing up from the couch and draining the swamp, err getting things done. HDR first 111!11
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Hello.

I bought an intel today and it has a lake and a motherboard. I updated the BIOS and uploaded the HDMI 1.66 firmware. I have a problem with the image on my TV. First I had a problem to find the option 60Hz because it was not possible to choose it. I had to turn on UHD Color on my TV. When set to 4k and 60Hz, the image is shaking and the screen turns black every now and then. I thought that hello lake works well with LibreELEC so I bought it. Is there any cure for it?

My TV Samsung UE55KS7000
I won the latest LibreELEC test 1013
When the TV is off option HDMI UHD Color = No choice 60Hz
When enabled HDMI UHD Color = There is an option of 60Hz but the picture does not appear for a while and returns to 30Hz.

How to make a log file and share it here in the forum?
This is my kodi.log

Try better high speed HDMI cable.
