Hi,
I have the tv server running on one pc on the network and would like to know how I can connect Kodi to it from another machine.

The MediaPortal app connects to it fine, but my Kodi log shows this:

Your log is massively incomplete, but it looks like you are trying to connect to mediaportal on your kodi machine (127.0.0.1). Try putting the ip address of the server into the mediaportal settings in kodi.
