v18 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 18.0)
Sorry to ask but didn't used it a long time and today i noticed it is not available:

is wifi disabled in the build ? The config tool only shows wired network and also bluetooth but no wifi if to configure... (RPi3) ? In dmesg it looks like wifi is not detected.

Thx

WiFi is not disabled, and built-in RPi3 WiFi is working for me (#0129/#0129x).
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

I found it - it was killed by oc cause dtoverlay=sdhost, ... kills wifi on rpi3 (readme). I changed to dtoverlay=sdtweak, ... and now it is working.

Sorry ... rtfm you know :-)

Hello guys,

any chance bringing unrar capability from Kodi17 back to Kodi18? Now Kodi18 subtitle plugins can not handle rar archived subtitles. People claiming that it has to do with Rar commercial license formats, but I am not sure.
RAR support is now a binary add-on you have to install/enable from the LE repo
Hello out there,
since Build #127 I have problems with pvr simple IPTV client v999.3.4.1 on my RasPi2. Video stops while Audio is playing, sometimes the system crashes and needs power cycle. Going back to Build #126 the system runs fine. I do not see any related changes. Any hint?
Thanx for your support,
oliaros
Jep, same problem here. IPTV-Simple and a native App for Swiss TV. Both don't work since #127.

What video/acceleration settings are you using?
If you have omxplayer enabled, try disabling.
If not try disabling mmal.
Hi,
h.264 and h.264-mvc mkv/iso playback is affected too. I'am using a RPi2 just for testing purposes, with 2 addons, tv-headend and logviewer, installed.
Right after reboot the 3D-Sample iso plays fine (starting with a unusual delay of 2 or 3 seconds).
Playing next file, a 2D mkv without sound, it displays a still picture, a couple seconds later another still picture, and so on. Both files are located on the memory card.
I have tried a full movie (h.264 mkv), which lead to the same behavior. By pressing ctrl-shift-o, I got a huge number displayed in the A/V line (can provide a screenshot).
I think the problem is elsewhere, not the mmap memory setting, because the playback changes a bit by changing the values but doesn't fix the problem as a whole.
As already stated, all that started with #0127, #0126(b) works fine.

I use the default settings: OMXPlayer: disabled, MMAL: enabled
after a short test it seems to run with MMAL disabled. I'll watch it, thanx for the support.

This isn't a permanent fix - you may find higher resolution video fails to keep up, but it does help to narrow down where the problem is.
Let me know if it is still good after longer testing.
Ignore my SSD1306 error. It was an hardware error. Sorry for confusion.

What I notice on Video/Audio sync problem on LiveTV is that some station had Dolby Digital 2.0/5.1 Sound but while the advertisement it is only mp2 stereo. On switching it starts the desync. After switching the audio the Audio and Video is back in sync.

I use a Raspberry Pi 3 with Pifi-Digi (hifiberry clone) on optical sp-dif
