Debug Log http://sprunge.us/jfMi

Can you confirm if it starts with #0423 (and isn't there in #0422)? It could be this, which is added in #0423:

  1. XBMC:
    • FileCache: Increase CHUNK_SIZE to 128 KB (PR:11619, 4 commits, 4 files changed)
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
Will check and get back to you.

Thanks. Do you still have this issue with #0425, as that has now bumped ffmpeg to 3.3 from 3.1.6 in #0423.

The problem is still there with #0425. About 0,5 -1 sec of play then kodi crash.
Running build #0421 I found an issue when live tv automatically starts on last tuned channel after suspend.
My MCE remote does not work - wake up does work but kodi does not receive any signal.

I think it's not a specific problem of your build, but maybe you or any other user have an idea where to look for a solution...

@sw4y if you can narrow down the build when this started...

hm, I think I did an update from a #02xx build to #0421, so there's a lot of options :-)

But if there's no other way, I can try to find out the exact build the next days.
Just to be sure:

To narrow down the build I can do simple up- and downgrades by copying the tar files into the update folder, right?

No clean install needed?
@sw4y yes, just use the tar to upgrade/downgrade - no need to perform a clean install.

Since the change to ffmpeg-3.3 , I can't FF/RW MP4's anymore, the counter goes ahead, but the screen just stays frozen, all is good with the older version of ffmpeg, tried with USB stick and over NFS shares.
