Can anyone tell me if it's possible to download Kodi to a LG Smart TV?

If I'm right those sets do not run Android, in which case you can't run Kodi on them. You'll need to purchase and use a computer, box or similar device (fire stick, raspberry pi etc) to run Kodi on and connect that to the TV.
