Library Node editor Fails on latest nightly.
#1
I was just wondering if the Library Node editor has been updated yet as it's throwing an error.

I think it may be a profile issue but not sure.

Better enable the debugging option before submitting a debug log (wiki).
It can provide vital additional information.

My advanced setting file had it overwritten. Sorry about that.

What error or action are you runing into, e.g. just hangs, doesn't present options, doesn't present browse? I've had to go back to Krypton to investigate, the nightlies right back to alpha 2 are giving me issues with a screen freeze using the editor calling up lists. I did manage to use work arounds to edit with direct pathing. I suspect most of the issues will be eventually worked out as we get closer to release. Keep an eye out for this here https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=224512&page=6

I've actually posted there in the meantime.

My steps to reproduce the error:

First and foremost, it's a portable build.
  1. Delete portable_data folder to start fresh.
  2. Install Library Node editor.
  3. Launch Library Node editor.
  4. New Parent Node...
  5. Open that node.
  6. Create new node.
  7. Then try opening that node.
Error as shown and log file shows this error.

Manually installing nodes should still work but negates the usage of a convenient editor. Thank-you for the diligent effort in keeping us informed.

Thanks, looking forward to a fix. Will follow that main thread for updates.
