Motivation
Listening to music depends on a mood and/or creates a mood. Sometimes there is a specific song or group one would like to listen to. More often than not, one would simply like to browse the library and play something that pops up in one of the predefined listings. I would propose to go a few steps further and give user a choice to browse the library from the "Now Playing" screen by using context and cross-referencing. This will probably apply more to skins than to core but maybe someone is reading here and likes the ideas.
Ideas
* In the "Now Playing" screen be able to jump to current artist and select other albums and/or songs (which are not currently on the playlist) from an associated listing
* Be able to add similiar music / artists from the library to the playlist (scrobbling) in the "Now Playing" screen.
* Maybe create an instant smart playlist via the previous methods with an element of randomness.
