Favorite add-ons widget?
#1
I would like to have my favorite add-ons above the Add-ons menu. I use Silvo, but I seem to only be able to list all add-ons of a certain type (video/music/etc) using a widget. I have 4 or 5 favorites I want to display for easily selection. Any ideas?

Why not use Favourites (wiki)? Right click on the add-ons and select Add to favourites.

Is there a way to set a widget to use the list of Favorites? I prefer the widget method for accessing them to opening another method when possible.

i have not looked at Silvo, skin if it has support for library nodes you could use plugin.library.node.editor
create a new parent node
start with default none
then add each plugin

if you can add content to a widget
it works like this on estuary
<include content="WidgetListSquare" >
                            <param name="content_path" value="favourites://"/>
                            <param name="widget_header" value="favourites"/>
                            <param name="widget_target" value=""/>
                            <param name="list_id" value="14100"/>
                            <param name="sortorder" value="descending"/>
                        </include>
