Also, have you tweaked any of the addon settings?  I noticed that the beginning of the witcher there is a little fast motion is the best i can describe it. Almost looks like its on high speed or missing frames.  Wondering if there is some tweaks i need to do.  I have a x96 air s905x3 4gb .

X96 air play netflix played 1080p not smooth, lag, skipped frames because It has DDR3, while clarkss12 has beelink gt mini 2 with DDR4, played netflix FHD very well

I´ve bought a T3 4GB/64GB device with S905X3. As soon as it arrives , i will check if Netflix plays 1080p smoooth, or not. I´m not convinced that DDR3 or DDR4 makes a difference. I think that "material" (Codec) in genaral has more influence to input-stream/Netflix-Addon than DDR3 ord DDR4 Ram could have...

Yes, today i had some time to setup Coreelec on the device. Netflix is running smooth IF, and i emphasize IF, you set the resolution to "manual" in input-stream adaptive settings. Everything UNDER 1080p (e.g. 1080I , or 1080@24hz) does run smooth (....can be set manual when ever you start a movie/series in Netflix-addon).
Real 1080p videos cant be run ...stuttering will happen. so the s905X3 will decode all Netflix videos  at 720p without any problems...difficulties start when 1080p should be mandantory for you...
Alternative could be a s922X box...but here in europe the cost at last 100€...which is double the price you will pay for a s905X3 box.
