Video is choppy on Ubuntu 19.10 with NUC8I3BEH

Hi. I got a problem with a choppy video on Kodi 18.5. It stutters every few seconds for a frame or two, not a lot but it is annoying enough.

When I open shift+ctrl+o I got no dropped frames.
I installed VAAPI with these instructions: https://ultra-technology.org/linux_for_b...an-ubuntu/

Kodi 18.5
Ubuntu 19.10
NUC8I3BEH

Logs: https://pastebin.com/kvXthHP8
I tested on sample videos from here: https://kodi.wiki/view/Samples
It happens on 60p and 24p.

First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Thanks! I did this howto: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=231955 and it works like a charm. Also, it fixes dark colors that used to be all grayish instead of black.

Hehe :-)

I linked you the wrong "entry link", wanted to send you: https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=350416 - which describes replacing modesetting by intel, just one thing the howto does.
