Getting correct info for two movie sets
#1
Hi guys, I have some situations where I have a two-movie set that TMM finds the root info for but doesn't list it properly.
Example: Def Leppard 2-disc DVD set, "Hystoria" and "In the Round, In your Face".
Each on its own disc, and TMM finds the root level combination of both of them, but won't change or list the title for each media file.
I'm left with the master entry but two files that won't rename properly.
How do I handle this?

please make some screenshots of your file system.
Or write the directory structure here.
Cannot identify from your text, sorry...

I am finding it ridiculously difficult to add photos, or post links to them from OneDrive. This is ridiculous.

DefLeppard1

DefLeppard2

DefLeppard3

So now I have two folders, one with the correct title of the 2-disc set but one of the media files, and the other with the incorrect title and the other media file.

Ideally, both media files would be selectable from Plex under the same icon, but I'd be fine if each was separate, i.e.
Def Leppard - Hystoria
Def Leppard - In the Round, In your Face
But how would TMM differentiate if there's only one entry for the box set in totality?

You have 2 files in one directory.
Therfor, TMM treats them as independent movies.

If you want them combined as ONE movie, you have to name them the same, like:
> Def Leppart - Historia, in the Round, In Your Face (DVD1).mkv
> Def Leppart - Historia, in the Round, In Your Face (DVD2).mkv

(delete the existing entries in TMM first)

Hi, I actually don't want it as one movie; I want them as two movies under the same entry.
One movie is Historia
One movie is IYF, ITR

If I were to split them up, TMM says they are one movie, not two, if I scrape them.
I'd be fine with two separate movies, but how can I do that if it thinks they are one?

Meaning, I'd be fine with two entries in Plex--Def Leppard Historia, and Def Leppard IYF, ITR.
But TMM says they are one title, not two.

TMM actually says, that there are 2 movies.
Since you have 2 movie entries in list!

Ok, they have the same title, probably because you scraped the same DVD on both entries?
(On initial import, they are named like your filenames)
You might just change the title manually then....no?
