Hi.
This was a feature of my precessor solution from Reel-Multimedia-Germany (https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReelBox) which I desperately miss YTD.
The bulit-in capability was to generally include past content from progressed broadcasts of manualy triggered recordings, while adding the missed content from the timeshift buffer (as far as available).
Based on EPG information, the Reelbox was able to determine how much missed content from the TS buffer it needed to insert/incl. in front of a manual recording to reconstruct the whole broadcast from the beginning (as much as possible).
