Make library modifications via command line?

LibreELEC (official): 9.2.0, kernel: Linux x86 64-bit version 5.1.16
Kodi (18.5 Git:18.5-Leia)

I was wondering if there is any way to perform tasks via Putty.

Custom movie groups for example. A Marvel movie group would be cool. Or simply editing display names for movies, tv series.

Not certain I understand the question.

Yes, it's possible to perform tasks via putty - I use "kodi-send" to update/clean libraries, for example.

"Custom movie groups" isn't really a task, so not sure what the goal is there.

"editing display names for movies" - you can rename files or amend the .nfo file from the command line.

Well, everything can be done. You can try editing the SQL database if you know what you are doing and modify it in the way you want it to have. That's probably not something I would recommend to do, but learning sql won't hurt Wink
