Hi there, 

Add rule type "counter per group" when "group by" is used for Smart Playlists

=> edit Smart Playlists
    group by :                 "choose what you want"

    smart playlist rule :
     - choose rule type :    counter per group 
     - choose operator :     is / is not / greater than / less than
     - value to match :     "number" 

a sample if I would like to display only director where there are 8 or more movies :

=> edit Smart Playlists
    group by :                 Directors

    smart playlist rule :
     - choose rule type :    counter per group 
     - choose operator :     greater than
     - value to match :     7 

Perhaps it is more easy to say than to do ?
