There are several semi-orphaned plugins (kodi65) comes to mind. Is there a way to find out which plugins depend upon it? I tried various ways (wget) to download all of the addons from the repository (https://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/), but without much success. Such a list might help people decide when to let a plugin die, or to move off of it.

The list would be needed for the current and previous release since not all plugins may not yet be available on the current release, in-part, due to the missing dependencies.

You need to check a combined addons.xml file of the respective repo. For example: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/matrix/addons.xml.gz
