You may have read my other post here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=41062 about not getting an MCE IR remote to work, i'm trying both options now.

I'm trying to get my PS3 BD remote working, after installing the xbmc-eventclients-ps3 i ran xbmc-ps3remote in a terminal, after holding start and enter it sees the remote and tries to pair but fails and just carries on in a loop of requesting me to press start and enter.

Tried some methods mention in:

etc, but it doesn't work for me!
