hey guys i was wondering how do i transfer all settings and profiles to another computer?

just keep your userdata folder and transfer that into the new pc after you have reinstalled xbmc

will this copy over all TV information and dvd folder location?

It should as all your libray files and thumbnails and fanart are all stored to that location.
The exact location of where it is stored on each platform differs just do a search for it
