Keyserver receive failed: keyserver error
#1
Built a dedicated HTPC, installed Lucid 32 bit('cause it just came out, mostly. willing to downgrade but would like to make Lucid work).

However while trying to install via the instructions on the wiki, I get the following:
Code:
arbo@arbo-htpc:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc
[sudo] password for arbo:
Executing: gpg --ignore-time-conflict --no-options --no-default-keyring --secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg --trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg --keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --primary-keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 189701DA570C56B9488EF60A6D975C4791E7EE5E
gpg: requesting key 91E7EE5E from hkp server keyserver.ubuntu.com
gpg: keyserver timed out
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error
arbo@arbo-htpc:~$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc

sudo gpg --ignore-time-conflict --no-options --no-default-keyring --secret-keyring /etc/apt/secring.gpg --trustdb-name /etc/apt/trustdb.gpg --keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --primary-keyring /etc/apt/trusted.gpg --keyserver hkp://pool.sks-keyservers.net --recv 189701DA570C56B9488EF60A6D975C4791E7EE5E

Do this, ubuntu's keyserver is a POS. This uses an alternative keyserver.
Since the source has already been added by add-apt-repository just apt-get update and install your apps as normal.

A Google would have answered this for you. Now stop bumping.

Oh and btw your using the wrong PPA. A stable XBMC has yet to be released for Lucid. You need to use the nightly PPA.

either you have a network problem or the server was temporarly down.
You can still install without the key.
