It's a bit late, but i was looking to do this also,
i've done a mix of info of this page and it work for label and property describe here : http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=InfoLabels :

for container with id 9000:

print xbmc.getInfoLabel('Container(9000).ListItem(0).Label')
