I don't see how OGLPlus would help in running opengl under DirectX. As I already mentioned OGLPlus is just a wrapper around OGL so to use it you would have to rewrite projectm to use OGLPlus and when you have done that it will still be using OGL underneath. You would have to write a DirectX version of OGLPlus if you then wanted it to run on DirectX.
If all you want is to run Milkdrop2 in XBMC then it would be 100x easier to just port it or failing that wait just a little longer until someone else does...
