Thanks for pointing that out (rtfm error ;-) ), but still no dice, even with a build from last week:
Code:
OpenELEC:~ # uname -a
Linux OpenELEC 4.4.2 #1 SMP Wed Feb 24 21:11:56 GMT 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux
OpenELEC:~ # vcdbg log msg 2>&1 | grep backlight

OpenELEC:~ # find / -name "*backlight*" -print

/sys/bus/platform/devices/rpi_backlight
/sys/devices/platform/rpi_backlight
/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/rpi_backlight
/usr/share/bootloader/overlays/rpi-backlight-overlay.dtb

Still no /sys/class/backlight I'm afraid. I've even tried to comment out the iqaudio-dacplus dtoverlay in case there was some conflict between them, but that didn't help either. What am I missing?
It shouldn't be a problem that I originally flashed the sd-card with the IQAudio provided http://iqaudio.com/downloads/5_OpenELEC-...Qaudio.zip and have been upgrading it to Milhouse's builds subsequently, should it?
