I have a situation where for some reason if I play a file with AC3 audio at 24p, I need to add a negative delay to get the synchronization perfect. If I play a file with DTS audio at 24p, no delay is necessary. I believe this is possibly to do with my amplifier handling different codecs in different ways (I have pass-through enabled for both).
What I am looking for: An addon that will detect the currently playing file's refresh rate and audio codec, and if it's AC3 and 24p add a negative delay. If it's DTS and 24p, set the delay or offset back to 0. Should be pretty simple (in theory). A GUI really isn't necessary unless you plan to release it to the public, as I am more than happy to edit a static file.
