sorry, didn't see you'd already answered that.
Try running the network setup wizard, but make sure printer and file sharing are turned OFF.
Then run it again, this time turn file and printer sharing ON. Make sure your workgroup and shares are set up properly. Then reboot your machine and any others that are in your workgroup. I know it sounds crazy, but so is windows file sharing...
Not saying it's going to work...but it's worth taking a crack at it.
