Is this possible via a DSP plugin and is there an existing plugin that will do it?
ie. send a multi-channel signal (not stereo) via hdmi which only includes 2 or 2.1 in order to fool the receiver to play pure stereo.
- and if possible do this only when playing music not video (but perhaps this part can be handled by the auto audio switcher plugin).
All because I don't want to find my receiver remote and push the mode button a few times
