I do force a visibility for the containers to bypass this behaviour. And to prevent ugly "glitching" I do use a fake busy spinner overlay.

 I've noticed that part and read your code in embruary helper but wait does the movement of the control (the resetposition method) does the trick or the script part isn't related to that specific issue?
