Please excuse me if this is in the wrong forum, but I wasn't quite sure where to put it...
I wrote a Python script that activates A2DP bluetooth audio, retrieves track data, dbus media controls, and creates generic video only playlists that contain the BT device's track metadata: In other words, a bluetooth HFP/HSP for Linux devices. So far it works pretty good, except I'm hating the fact that the stream reloads every time a track changes
...so is it possible to rewrite only the infolabels and duration on an active stream? I've found nothing in the API that indicates this is possible.
