Problem:
Years ago I installed Kodi 15.1 and then Kodi 15.2 on my Asus 1005PX netbook with Windows 7 Starter. At Kodi "video add-ons" audio and video worked together satisfactorily. But from Kodi 16 onwards, Kodi only produced sound and no more video. As a result, Kodi 16.x, 17.x and 18.x have become useless on my netbook.

Questions:
1) Who knows what changed in Kodi 16 and later, so that the video add-ons produce only sound and no video on my Asus netbook?
2) How can I make Kodi 16, 17 and 18 show video on my Asus netbook under "video add-ons"?
