Hi all,
I’m new to Plex and hoping someone can help.
I have a Plex Server on the Internet ( 1.19.5.3035) and I’m connecting from home via my Odroid N2 box with LibreElec (9.2.3) which has Kodi (18.7.1 - Leia) and Plex Client (0.2.1).
I want all videos to be transcoded to the same quality, say 4 Mbps, so I have disabled Direct Play and Direct Stream and set the Local, Remote and Online quality settings to 4 Mbps. However all videos play in Direct Play mode as can be seen in the dashboard on the Server.
I can manually change the quality for each video and then transcoding does work but I don’t want to manually do it for all videos. I just want all videos transcoded to the set quality.
What am I doing wrong?
BTW - I don’t have a Plex Pass.
