I'm running Kodi 17.6 on my FireTV Gen 2. I've enabled the setting under Media to allow media files to be renamed, and I can rename video files just fine. But whenever I try to rename a music file, Kodi always rejects the changes. I have disabled Tag Reading, since I don't want that, and in fact I've disabled all options under System -> Media -> Music, and I've set the Default Information Providers to Local Information Only. I want complete and total manual control of file and folder names.

So why can't I rename music filenames?
