This is the leading edge of 4K HEVC Kodi development, OpenELEC is easy to install and use too.
I can decode 60fps 4K 8-bit HEVC files on my beebox. But due to HDMI 1.4, only output to 24fps@4096x2160, 30 fps@3840x2160 and 60fps@1440p or 1080p.
