I was on 20.1 but rolled back to 18.9 for a number of reasons. I checked two systems I setup for clients and they both are running 19.5 with no issues. I think I'll give that a try and see what happens.

I have a few add-ons that surprisingly wouldn't install under 19.5, but do under 19.3. Anyway, the Radio add-on works perfectly under 19.3, including My Stations. Now I have to see if all my other add-ons work under 19.3. Some things I use that didn't work under 20.1:Understand where you are coming from.
-Weather add-on
-Transparency! skin (although technically it doesn't work under 19.x either, but there's a hack that fixes it). At this point, there are no other skins that suit my needs/preferences.
-When playing back an MKV file with chapters, 20.1 will not accurately skip to the correct chapter position. It always lands a few frames before. That makes a difference if
you've made a video of clips. Seeing the last few frames of the previous clips before your chosen one is jarring. All the previous versions work correctly.
-Settings for subtitles no longer includes color (this is a skin thing, not KODI, but it really doesn't make a difference either way -- it's still a failing).
There are a couple more but I can't think of them right now. Anyway, for now I can live with 19.3

As an example I use https://www.radio.de/s/bbcradio4.
- Call up the desired station in the browser
- call view page source text
- Ctrl+F on the keyboard (text search appears)
- enter the following text in the search:
- the following URL is your stream URLCode:"streams":[{"url":
- You will find a station logo in front of the entry for the stream URL
- a good choice is the logo with c300.png at the end
Result:
Enter the result into the radio add-on “My Stations”.Code:- Stream Name: BBC Radio 4
- Stream URL: https://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/ma...ourfm.m3u8
- Stream Logo: https://d3kle7qwymxpcy.cloudfront.net/im...1/c300.png
Done!
